Jennifer McCarty
Master Stylist- Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience to the salon as a seasoned hair stylist. And as co-owner and hair stylist, she divides her time between delivering excellent customer service while designing beautiful hair and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the salon.
- She loves to do big transformations, short haircuts, and beautifully blended highlights are her specialty. She excels in men’s and children’s cuts, and enjoys doing perms as well.
Sarah Bender
Master Stylist- Sarah, with us since 2007, is an integral member of la Tierra Salon. She excels as an advanced stylist and colorist, also serving as educator, mentor, friend, confidante, therapist, and front desk assistant. Her specialties include color melting, color patterns, and hair extensions. Sarah’s educational background includes studies at Grand Valley State University (2002-2005) and graduation from the Aveda Institute of Denver in 2006.
Lauren Peterson
Master Stylist- Lauren has evolved into a very accomplished stylist and colorist. Her haircuts are her strengths and they are detailed and precise. She is also very strong in color melting and ombres. Color is vital to so many people’s confidence and inner self worth; it is everywhere, and she embraces the role that it plays in people’s lives.
- Lauren mentors the newer stylists in the salon, while supporting fellow advanced stylists. Lauren welcomes continuing education, understanding that it is the key to continuing success.

The salon is very relaxing I started getting sleepy towards the end . The ladies are all very light hearted and kind. If you’re in the area I highly recommend coming here. They truly want to make sure you’re happy with the quality and overall experience, which to be honest almost all other shops in the area are lacking.
I’ve been to LaTierra Salon & Day Spa three times now and I have been extremely happy every single time. The ladies there are so nice and the prices are the best out of all the other salons I’ve been to in Highland’s Ranch. It’s so peaceful and calm here. It’s just a lovely place to relax while they take care of you.
I accidentally ran into this Salon for Brazilian blowout & a haircut- OMG! – the staff were so knowledgeable & did a fabulous job. They very attentive & extremely professional- they took their time with a big smile & patience! I live in Denver, but this is my Salon from now on.
